Summer is approaching.!!!

Did you decide to start exercising? Possibly you had a long winter break, obviously its too hard when cold, or maybe you never liked exercising but age related bodily changes are telling you that its time , better late than never!

You want results and you want them fast! This mindset leads to a very aggressive approach which can leave you burnt out, injured and you will be less likely to reach your goal.

Today’s advice is : STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP IN THE GYM

Don’t try to start where you left it off, you need to build your strength and endurance slowly. Make sure you start with correctional exercises for posture, mobility, core strength and flexibility. If you resolve this first stage right you will be able to advance yourself to harder, more complex movements and heavier weights. Be methodical, have a plan and think ahead.

Exercise is stimulus that primes your body to change, but too much of it can backfire. MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER! If your workout intensity is too high and exceeds body’s ability to recover and adept within given period of time, you won’t get desired results and you could also get injured.

For the ones out there that want to increase muscle mass : IMPORTANT -If you overtrain and/or undereat , your body can actually burn muscle to become smaller in order to burn less calories.

CONCLUSION – if you don’t know what you are doing and where to start get help , and remember there is no quick solution so stop wasting time looking for one.
